Dr. David Mir is a Primary Care physician with 20 years of experience treating patients of various ages and medical conditions. Dr. Mir grew up in a small town in the Midwest, completing his undergraduate degree at Indiana University. Shortly after that, he moved to San Diego, utilizing his biology degree as a research associate in a biotechnology startup for a world-renowned biochemist and Nobel prize winner for developing Taxol. Taxol better known as, tamoxifen, is used primarily for breast cancer treatment saving millions worldwide.
As rewarding as it was to work with the greatest minds of biochemistry in research, he yearned to engage in the clinical aspect of medicine. In 1999, he pursued his Medical Degree at Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Mir worked at several hospitals providing a high acuity of care in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, delivering exceptional care to his patients. He completed his residency training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Family Medicine in 2007 and has served Orange County ever since.
Finally, he enjoys spending time with his son in his spare time, reading, exercising, culinary experiences, traveling, and philanthropy.
