YOUR HEALTH IS OUR MISSION

Our mission is to treat, prevent, and reverse disease using a multi-speciality approach combining plant-based nutrition with evidence-based medicine. Our goal is to refrain from using medication when possible, and stop medication when unnecessary, by prescribing a whole-food plant-based diet and lifestyle modifications as a foundation for optimal health. Our goal is also to educate physicians and healthcare professionals on the impact of evidence based nutrition on health and disease.

Do you take insurance?

IOPBM does take PPO insurance, but only a select few of our providers. When selecting a visit it will say “insurance” or it will have a cash value in the title designating if it is a cash visit type. With cash visit types we can still generate a superbill that includes a summary of your visit with diagnosis, charges, and other services so you can give that to your insurance company to get reimbursed. We recommend contacting your insurance to ensure before scheduling with a provider so you can check your benefits. 

Do you see Medicare patients?

Yes, select providers do take Medicare here at IOPBM. 

How does pricing work?

Each provider has their individual prices listed when making an appointment. When scheduling through the portal you will see the prices for each visit type. 

Do you see patients throughout the USA?

We offer services from coast to coast, starting from California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois and more to come very soon. Our provider page will have the states/locations our providers are licensed to practice under their name. 

Do you see patients outside of the USA?

Yes, through innovative avenues such as telemedicine and our patient portal, we do offer services internationally.

How many physical locations do you have?

We have 1 physical location: 17 Corporate Plaza Dr. Suite 110, Newport Beach, California 92660.

What happens if I cancel my appointment or reschedule an appointment?

If you cancel your appointment with at least 48 business hours notice, there will not be a cancellation fee. Cancellations without a 48 business hour notice may be subject to a $75 no show/late cancellation fee. 

How do I make an appointment?

You must be registered with IOPBM to make an appointment. There is no charge to register and no commitment after you register. Once registered you will login to the portal then select “My Appointments”, you will then see step 1. “Selecting a provider”, step 2. “Selecting your appointment type”, then step 3. “Selecting your appointment time.” 

Do you take new patients? 

Yes, all providers are taking new patients. Simply follow the steps in point 8 and make an appointment with one of the specialists that works for you. 

Are insurance visits in-office only?

Yes, at this time insurance visits are in-office only.
